found this in search by azinazoo posted 2/10/04. i know, just change the injector. just curious what you thought."Fortunately for you, you don't have to go through all that trouble. Pull the injector connectors off and put an Ohm meter across the terminals of each, see what reading you get. My guess is one is higher than normal. One thing you can do is a little trick MaximaMike (member from a while back) showed me. With the connectors off, get two LONG pieces of reg 14 or 16 gauge wire. What you are going to do is essentially "jump start" each injector. Connect each wire to +/- batter terminal (have a friend help if neccesary). Then put the negative wire one of the injector terminals. Then CAREFULLY tap the other terminal with the positive wire. Don't hold it on there too long, you don't want to fry the injector, just brush it so you hear the "click" of the pintle. This little "boost" can free up a sticky injector. I'v been able to postpone injector jobs for a couple of months doing this. It's a little janky, I know, but I was working at PepBoys at the time, not exactly deep pockets."
