Message	a full inch has to come off of the stud for the manifold to sit flat on the side of the head without any fasteners on. Even with the stud cut, I have to do what you're describing Joe Engine Rebuild in Progress: Sport 530bb's + Inconel :-) AIM: hoyatiger81
