Message It was clearly marked to my address. Luckily, he is a friend and brought it over. It was from Claude in Canada.

USPS is cheap and thats where it ends. I could have easily lost that expensive speedo without recourse. I lost an expensive DVD last year that had deliver confirmation. Since it was delivered (who knows where) I had no argument for the seller or PayPal to get my $$ back. If I ever HAD to use USP S again (for a PO BOX) I would track & insure it for as much as I could spend.

If I have to use UPS, I try to justify $1001 in insurance, as that gets it special treatment (according to the UPS guy). I would never ship anything electronic via ground service.

For my prized parts and electronics, I only use FedEx Air. I've never had a problem.
