Message It took a bit to relearn the track going backwards. The track was faster going counter clockwise, but it was still a blast once we figured out what the hell we were doing. Yep, I discovered how important it is to prep the car for a track event. When installing my Stoptechs a month ago I *thought* I bled the entire system, but evidently I only bled the front brakes. My rears had not-so-fresh fluid, which promptly boiled when things got hot, causing the pedal to go to the floor. That sucked, but I was able to recover.

Kuah's Z is uber trick. His Motec EMS was impressive. Guap and I averaged 19 and 18 mpg respectively on the trip to Hallett, whereas Kuah did 23 mpg. He also did not exhibit the trademark JWT richness under WOT that Guap and I did. He sets his target A/F, and the Motec self adjusts. He can also trim fuel and adjust timing on a per cylinder basis. Pretty sweet.

I need to get an in-car video camera so I can get Guap's tail-pipe flames on tape :) The other Porsche guys at the event were very cool, although Tu's instructor was pretty vocal of his dislike of Japanese cars. Oh well :) I have a new respect for 95-99 BMW M3's...with only a set of track tires, they were a force to be reckoned with.

Looking forward to next time...
