also, the problem with them snapping isn't necessarily due to an excess of power. rocks and things hitting the driveshaft will cause it to snap. aluminum has a memory, so every little ding will add up to slowly weaken it. cf snaps back into shape with no memory effect if it gets hit by a less than critical blow. however, since it's tucked up there pretty good, it's probably never going to get hit... but ya never know!
