and to top it off... it's HEAVIER than the sluminum one... so the gains in driveline effeciency are less. OK... so it's a bit better at vibrational dampening... but a well balanced aluminum one has performed great for me up to 140... and I'm sure it'd do fine if my car would go past that. :-) Oh yeah... and it's alot safer if your shaft happens to snap... but when was the last time you heard of a shaft snapping on a car with less that 700 hp or on ANY non-race car for that matter. Personaly I've heard of cars ruining their frames due to torque stress before the shaft broke. I think it's a snob appeal thing myself.
