This may get deleted or I may get flamed to death, but I feel as if I should at least try to voice my openion. And if the spelling or grammer is wrong, then its wrong. I don't see the need to tell someone that thier Z is crap. That whatever body kit they choose is ugly. That they should set themselves and thier Z on fire because it is a disgrace to the Z community as a whole. When I come accross a picture of a Z with mod's that I don't like/agree with, I just close the window. I might say to myself, "Wow, thats as ugly as my neighbor" But there's no need to type this out to the person. Especially being that he/her spent thier hard earned $$$ and time doing what they feel is a awesome upgrade.
So how about bitting your touge instead of putting someone down for what they've done to thier car. Now, this is the only online forum that I'm a part of besides Xbox-scene. So I don't know how the other forum's operate but I think that there is alot of people's attitudes that need to be changed. I remember my first posting was "What color should I paint my calipers?" I stated what I thought would look nice, and that was the whole post. The people that responded either put up a picture of what they've done or simply stated what they've seen/like. That was it, no flaming or snide remarks. When I first became a member the entire forum was much different. There was a overall attitude that was helpfull and everyone had something in common, a love for Z's. I was able to meet a few people from TT.Net in person and was instantly impressed at the mutual respect and open friendleness that was given. Then I left the site for a few years.
Since I've came back and have been somewhat active I noticed a significant shift in the overall attitudes here. I think that all of our parents have at one time told us "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" I think the same should apply here. But sometimes people become keyboard commando's and have to put others down to make up for being picked on in high school. Whatever the reason, it would be nice if it stopped. Thanks for reading down this far, and for 85% of you, this doesn't apply. But mabye the other 15% might "See the light" CowBoy
