I was out autocrossing with WWSCC today in Everett WA. My father was watching me drive and noticed that after I finished a run and shut the car down, the next time I started it up I'd puff out a cloud of greyish-blue smoke, then when I launched off the start line I'd puff another bunch out. While I was on the course the car seemed to be running fine, no smoke or steam or anything was puffing out, it only seemed to happen after the car had sat for a few min immediately after a run. Should I be worried about this? My 2+2 has 160,000 miles on it, but doesn't burn any oil and shows no signs of imminent malfunction, but I'm not sure if I shoul d just put this down to the weird g-loads on the car or if I need to be worried about problems to come. Any ideas? if anyone cares results are here: [ http://www.wwscc.org/event_results/2005/wwscc05-1.html ]
I'm down under NovicePM, car number 300. 9th in class isn't too bad, I'm still learning. I really need to get some better tires, Yoko Sport db S2's just arn't good for this stuff.
