Message	I ran the dump pipes back into the mid pipes on my TD05 280z and also on ZO's TD05 car...... On ZO's car we actually dyno tested it with the dumps into the air and then back into his 2.5" exhaust. The results were the same both ways. 12 to 18" is the optimum recommended distance before bringing the dump back into the stream. You also want to make sure that the dump enters smoothly with the pipe angled the direction of flow and not straight into the side of the pipe.
