Take what money? That's the whole point of borrowing, there is no "money".

Did you finance your house, and therefor make it more expensive? Just because real estate prices have appreciated dramatically in some markets doesn't make those homeowners brilliant investors.

If someone wants to spend $50 a month in interest to own a car and they have the disposable income to do it, that's very reasonable.
