Message a. Rebuild yourself. The result lies entirely with your ability to do the job right. No warranty. But you have a 0 mile motor if done right.

b. Buy a used motor. No telling what was done to the motor before. Might have a warranty, might not. Cheapest option.

c. Buy an SGP shortblock. $2700. 0 mile motor, 1 year warranty from the best shop around.

If I were going to spend the money on a rebuild anyway, I'd just get the SGP and call it a day.

And thanks to Guapo... I got my first ride in a Twinturbo... at speed... on a race track.
I'll just say 'Damn' and leave it at that.
