Message	You are responsible for paying for services and also for applicaple tax for that state. There is no write off. Just pay the 8.25% tax and call it a day. Even though you didn't purchase the parts from him nor agree to let him purchase them for you, he still pays tax from the bill of sale at the end. Nobody owes nobody nothin', you owe yourself.
