So the saga continues, and another update from the GT28r install.... its in, motor, trans, and the 1pc DS...made some decent progress with the amount of time I was given and the distractions that always tend to interrupt the work!! ( grr to buddies that come over to 'check' it out) So to the pics...
Shots of my manis after I heat wrapped them...
Ahh.... the workstation ( I had to take a break from the Z to throw a few tidbits on the SRT quick ).
My mom is cooler than your mom! (she thinks her bike is cooler than my Z) So my buddy had to see if the NOS actually made the bike faster....
Then the distractions left, and I could finally get some work done....ugh, of course nobody left till after 10.
Some shots of the adapter plates I made to use the stock piping with the GT28r..... I used gaskets and for extra peace of mind, I used some high temp silicone.
Just some random shots...
Into the morning....
Chris was kind enough to grace me with his presence...
and it all fits, perfect.
Trans slid right in, like a glove. (first one that hasnt been a PITA to stab)
