Message And it doesn't work so you have to send it back to get another? Then you wait a few weeks to get another back. Then go ahead and install everything just to find out another piece is bad in this new kit?

Well thats what happened to me and my AVC-R install. When I got my first AVC-R my display wouldn't even come on. Sent it in and then got a whole new kit. I was happy when i finally got my stuff on saturday. I installed the display then ran to see if it worked properly... Yes it did so I finished up doing the replumbing for the soleniod and everything else.

Everything was connected and seemed ok I started with a boost of .80 and duty cycle of 40%. Just to test. As I started to learn more I checked to see that all inputs were working correctly. Throttle, RPM, and speed looked all ok. Until I saw boost it read something like -463 kg/cm2 and I was looking at my autometer boost gauge it read something like -15PSI I am thinking shit I have a leak somewhere. So I check all the hoses, try new hoses, connect the AVC-R boost sensor to where I connected my autometer, even connected directly and all with the same result nothing near the negative -1 bar I was expecting. After alot of fussing about I finally call it quits and admit to myself that boost Sensor is bad.

The only upside is that I took like 63 pictures of my install I am going to try to put up another FAQ on installing this AVC-R. The whole thing took me a day just because I was constantly trying to check everything out and taking pictures and finding where stuff is at. Also I had to run to the store a couple of times and get supplies. If had to do it again I am sure I can do it in a few hours.

Well anyways I guess I am just venting. I just wished that when you bought something new it actually it worked. Makes me wonder if any Apexi even checks there products before they even go out the door. Or maybe I am just cursed with this AVC-R :-)

OH BTW I did take to the car to highway just to see if was vacuum it couldn't display correctly and even still the max boost I ever saw on the AVC-R was something like +163.
