| inflation... so quit bitching... pull your foot off the gas pedal a little if its bothering you that much... It costs me almost $50 to fill up my 4.7L Dodge Ram w/ 87 Octane (average 22 gallong fill up). Costs me over $36 on average to fill up my '97 Maxima w/ 93 Octane (average 14 gallon fill). Has it caused me to change my driving habits? No... have a curbed some of my other frivilous spending? Yes... its life, deal with it. Record highs in the 70s w/ inflation come to something like $3.10 per gallon for regular... we still have a ways to go... And think about everywhere else in the world... we have some of the cheapest gas... only a select few countries have cheaper gas... and some of the car mecas of the world have crazy gas prices (UK, Germany, Japan, etc). Considering yourself lucky you live here...
