Message these turbos past their maximum efficiency, like some of the guys do with the lower compression. I don't know what your power and boost threshold is, but I believe you will stop turning up the boost well before someone with an 8.5 engine would. Therefore while losing some efficiency from the engine to spool the turbos, because of the additional power due to the higher base compression, you don't have to push the turbos as hard (I think they start losing their adiabatic efficiency, I believe is the term, around 15 psi). Just a side note: I am having my engine rebuilt, and have decided to build a slightly higher compression engine (9:1) to compliment my smaller turbos (I have sport 500s). I figure I can make more power at lower boost, and run the turbos within their correct effeciency range....sound familiar? Continued success, Mark
