Message	chassis for under $4k. A motor rebuild is around $300 every 30 hours. Really the biggest expense is tires . They'll run around $250 for a set and are needed to win. You can practice during the week at most tracks if you become a member of that club. It is usually free. At Sears I have to pay $20 for half day. Google up some kart shops in your area.
