warranty is void; it means that they will refuse any to do any work that should be covered by either the implied or not esspressed warranty. A dealer is in no way obligated to service cars; they are in the service business and they can deny service for whatever reason. What they want you to do in this case is to pay up, then will try to collect from the manufacturer's as well ( what I call a double collection). If you haggle long enough and have the manufacturer's backing then the dealer has no option but to fix your car under the warranty, if you really haven't done anything wrong to void it of course. Dyno testing a car can be "considered" abusive because of the lack of "proper" airflow into the engine compartment. And no fan is big and fast enough to cool a motor at 100mph on the dyno. Keep in mind that the law is only a guideline. It may be written in black and white, but there is a lot of gray for lawyers to fight over. Why do you think there are so many lawyers?
