I stood there as they installed the gears. I had my nissan service manual and we went through all the specs. I paid more, because I slowed the process down by being there and asking questions. If you've ever worked on cars to help friends, you've seen how the presence of people can slow work down. I ended up having to pay for that quality time, but it was very well worth it. Actually, they offered to do it for free, but a small company like theirs doesn't stay in business long by giving away their services. So I insisted I paid their regular shop rates.
