it is a question of interpretation of the exclusions listed in the warranty documentation. I personally am not aware of any new vehicle warranty that specifically disallows dyno testing, but I have a feeling that they are trying to lump this under 'racing' or 'abuse', which is bull$h@t. Like you say, running on their 248C is far less load than on the street. Not to mention, the runs stopped well before redline. Just the fact that they have attempted to do this to one of our club members makes me want to ensure that everyone who has and/or may again buy a car from them or use their group's dyno knows exactly what to expect from these fine businesses, and that they do not have to put up with it.
