Message I just reminded myself why i have a shop work on my car. It takes about 5 min to install the high and low beams on ALMOST any car and with a car as "well" enginered as ours that you would think it would be the same. It just took me 2 HOURS!!! and scraped up knuckles, the driver side high beam took the longest envolving me to finally pull off one of the intercooler pipes so i can sorta get my hand down there. So just getting the old lights out was a PITA, and then having a very short harness. The clip broke on one and when i was pulling one of the old lights out it flew into the air and hit the ground breaking the coil inside. I was planning on keeping them just in case the new ones had problems. By the way they were sylvania, found out when i pulled them out. And what is up with that rubber insulation crap it put so much dirt everywhere that when i was puting them back in it powderd everything. Now im afraid they are going to burn up i dident touch them but all the crap they had to go through, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get them in there with out anything touching them. By the way turned them on and well they are still dual yellow any ideas? The inside headlight housing is dirty and condensation is getting in. Any ideas on how to clean them?
Anyway im agervated beyond belief.
