So last night my stock radiator finally after 15 years gave out. So today I replaced it and take the car out for a spin to make sure it wouldnt over heat or anything. There is this nice flat wide backroad that has a 20 acre farm on one side and some hills with trees on the other. After the hill with the trees is a back part of a devlopment. Well I maxed out third gear(na tranny) at liek 95 mph. the road then turns into a 35 with houses on both sides, I usually go through this area going like 20 ish or so due to little kids playing in the street, and pull a U turn. Im doing the speed limit the other way, and this guy runs out of the trees and is in the middle of the street. I thought it was my buddy who was following up but pulled over maybe to take some vid or something so in second gear i punched it, didnt really go anyway just kind of spun in place. I am doing like 40ish(45mph) and the guy starts to run to my car(not my friend like a thought) I think to my self ohh hes going to be pissed so I slow down to maybe 10 mph and he runs up to my car screaming at me so I just take off. I get back into my devlopment, doing like 20mph in 1st gear till i get to my house. I pull into my drive way and a sec later this short guy wearing a pink shirt in his late 40's pull INTO my driveway. I ask him if he needs help with something and he starts cursing at me!! He then goes to tell me I was flying through the devlopment and he could hear it. I ask him to calm down that the car is just loud no matter what speed I go. He then rants on about how he is going to call the cops this and that, and finally told him if he didnt get off my property the cops would have to come to remove his broken body. 15 minutes later the cops are at my house....... One of my buddies who was with me is a firefighter in our town and was friends with the cop lol. He asked me to start it up, so I did. He then tells me how he can see people might be thinking im going faster due to the sound then I really am. He says its a pretty cool car then leaves. Why are people so annoyed by alittle noise at 3 oclock on a sunday afternoon??? I wasnt speeding, and this little prick has to come off like some asshole ugh people just frustrate me sometimes.
