| there is no chance of getting pulled over with that since with that tint you can still see the inside. Its 1 level higher then the lightest tint..the 32% gives you a bit of darkness and blocks out the UVs. If you compare my 1/4 window (6%) with my driver side window you can see what im trying to say... 
I was informed by the tint shop owner that you can have 32% on the driver's and passanger's side windows since law enforcements can still see inside of the car and many cars now a days come factory tint with 32%. BS or not I haven't gotten pulled over once with this tint...and I live in Irvine. Irvine cops pull over for anything...even if a bicyclist isn't wearing a helmet.
