Message Reason I ask that is because I see more accident claims on SUV's and sedans than high performance cars, specially exotics. There was an article some time ago claiming that the Viper was one if not the most expensive car to repair in an average accident cost at $25000 but that may have changed.
And I'm not sure I agree that "the faster the vehicle the more likely it will get into an accident" theory. It may be a higher risk for the insurance companies, so that's why they label them with that theory. You can't say that an SUV like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo pays as much as a 997Turbo and both as well all know have similar power, but the chances of the Cayenne fliping around a turn at high speed it's much higher than the 997. As I understand the 2 seater pays higher insurance than a 4 seater, TTops pay more than slick top and 4 door sedans pay less than all I just mentioned, I do agree that HP plays a factor on the rates but not all.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. You can quote them. Disagree with them. Glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
