You are comparing your 4.5" smic's to my smaller 3.5" fmic I sell for the smaller turbo guys.
The grail 4.5 core size was listed right beside the grail 3.5....dunno how you could have missed it (unless you chose to for the purposes of misdirection).So if you were comparing equal thickness cores then your Ashspec smic charge face is 12.6 sq inches smaller than a Grail 4.5". For reference the stock smics are roughly 14.6".
......Much bigger difference than 0.6 sq inches, huh ;)
stock smic= 14.6 sq in
ashspec = 41.4 sq in
grail 3.5"= 42 sq in
grail 4.5"= 54 sq in
