Message	come in a twin turbo trim. There was a base model (no SL/VR4 designation) that was a SOHC, and rated at like 165 HP I *think*. The VR4 is all by its lonesome. My friend had a '97 5spd. SL with 40k miles on it. I annihilated him 3 times in a row on the freeway with my '90 NA Auto Z + pop-charger and 140k miles. They're just turdy cars.
