Message 1) The system has failed or is broken and you don't want to spend the money involved to repair it (it can be very expensive if you can't DIY and/or have to buy new parts for some of it).

2) You track your Z and/or prefer to control the car completely by yourself and have the ability to do so. Or if you're on a dire mission to save weight and have done everything else (the 90-93 HICAS is worth removing to some, the 94+ is not nearly as heavy).

There may be more, but those are the main reasons. People just looking for stuff to do and money to burn can better spend it elsewhere, in general but some do have the need. I wont touch mine until it fails because it DOES work, though some don't like the feel.
