I had both at one point. Long story short had AshSpec in my old Z, got totaled, bought a new Z with a JWT in it, swapped out ecu's to test out if I could feel any differences and there really wasn’t much difference other than my car felt like it ran a little better with the JWT. It felt a little more responsive. I went with the JWT because it felt a little better, and the name that its been around for a lot longer. If price is an issue go with the AshSpec, its a great ecu and like College Boy said about half the price (but whens price not an issue). Never had a problem with either ECU...both are great.
