This is not a "corporate scam", but insurance that they receive cores (housings only) that they can use to make the sport 500s. If they didn't get stock housings, they couldn't make their sport 500s and 600s. I believe that you actually end up spending less $ on new (they are new with the exception of the housings) 500s than replacement stockers from Nissan. This is not a corporate conspiracy. JWT has the utmost respect, proven performance, and customer satisfaction in the Z32 turbo industry (not everybody will agree, but the majority of their customers do). I have 130,000 miles on mine and they have minimal shaft pley, don't smoke, and have allowed me to run 11.4 in the 1/4 mile with a bone stock engine. Good luck on your decision, Mark
