bought ther car. Was the cheapest way to ship the car cross country (and Canada is a big country). One thing to be aware of: if you do decide to ship it by rail, either make sure that it is shipped in a closed container, or have it covered by a really good car cover. My car was absolutely covered by rail dust, and that stuff doesn't wash off. Ended up needing 2 claybars to remove.
