Subject	Tire question Luke?

Message	You probably all know I got my new wheels. The rears came with 265/40/17. The fronts did not have tires. I was going to order my tires so they would be here tommrow for the fronts. (235/45/17) After a quick test fit with the rears I'm debating on putting a bigger tire on the rear. Maybe a 275/40/17. 9" rear wheels. Question is, would the 265/40 be ok on the front 8" wide wheels? It says on Tirerack 9-10.5" wheel but they almost look to narrow for the 9" wheels on the back. Seems they would be OK on a 8" wheel to me? There only .4" taller than the factory 225/50/16. But would the extra width be to much?? Just want a 2nd opinion. Thanks
