Chip talks and seems like a great guy! The problem is, Chip is completely dishonest person and he sucks as a businessman!
Whether or not these claims are against GMS or Chip, it's all the same person. GMS wasn't incorporated the whole time - I know because I'm looking into his situation. If it can be proven that he recently became incorporated in the past couple of months because he knew he was going to go bankrupt, he has opened up a whole new can of worms.
My car was sitting at his shop for over a year and payment for parts was made when the car was dropped off. During this time, Chip never called me to let me know anything that was going on with the car. I've also gotten alot of excuses, mostly not valid. When I drove 10 1/2 hours yesterday to pickup my car, a had a hard time finding my stuff. I'm short on some of my parts, parts I paid for last year(turbos,wastegates,pentroof manifolds, dps, etc). He lost my ECU, chip, and hardpipes. He even sold my Apollo FMIC to some guy with a white 300 in TX for $900 very recently.
I'm not the only person around that has been dicked by Chip in this FUBAR kind of situation - there is a big handfull of guys that are pissed because Chip has ruined them.
I want to congratulate Chip on his marriage, in which myself and plenty of others paid for his wife's wedding ring, their honeymoon, his house, etc. The worst thing about it all is when I got to see him face to face, he acted so smug and non-chalant as if he hasn't done anything wrong. He just whistled around the shop looking for my stuff as if this were some fun day in the park.

Everyone he did business with and he came out on the good, you are very fortunate. He probably didn't have to work on your car either. Anyone can order a part and ship it out - whoop de do.
So, to answer your question, hmmm ..... Chip is a smooth-talking weasel, full of lies, lazy, a thief, and someone who shows no remorse for screwing over people!That's MY 2 CENTS!
