I've been dreading smog testing every year for the past 4 years since I put in my turbos and RT hiflow cats and related upgrades. Since I did everything at once, I didn't realize the hiflow cats were what was giving bad smog numbers. I had to buy a AFC and lean it out so much the car barely ran and then bribe some plebe at the smog test station test it while it sputtered and coughed through testing - usually took 3 tries and $200 each year to pass. This year, I bought some Stock cats and it passed with flying colors.
So the moral of this story is don't believe hiflow cat manufacturers - THEY DON"T WORK!
