all comments that are negitive will only result in you getting screwed if you have a serious injury as result of collision...so if you wanna risk it, go ahead...but, if you want to show 'due dilligence' as they call it in the courts...as in, you made all necessary attempts to inform your insurance company of the condition of your vehicle, then they will be less able to worm out of paying you what you may be entitled to, but, if you leave them a loophole, then you open yourself up...and even may open yourself up to a lawsuit against you if you injure someone else, and be held personally liable, rather than your insurace covering your ass.
