mechanical issues like the 4AGE, so I can't imagine where that would come from? The only engine complaint that is known is some question the block's reliability above 500rwhp; related to where one of the head bolts attaches to the block. I believe that is changed on later 3S blocks (gen III). Either way, a 2L pushing over 500hp can expect to run into some issues; I wouldn't consider it a common problem. I'll stand by that a well maintained MR2T is just as reliable as a well maintained Z32TT
