Subject	having trouble changing ignition light to LED?

Message	So I went to some electronic store asking how to install LED's to my ride........I baught a solder gun, solder ,4 LED's, resisters and wire to attach them. assembled the LED's snipped the ignition light housing, stripped the wire and connected them. nothing happened> I know thats the way its suppose to be done. Anyways I ordered LED's that are ready to just put in. I hope it works....Am I missing something?
