Message anyway, im actually gonna move the belt to the pillar behind the door (as suggested awhile ago. blipman? somebody from australia), then im gonna get rid of that door pillar piece completely and make a carbon fiber peice to cover whatever is under it (window frame rails and shit, whatever), so the door doesnt even have to come out that much at all (just enough to get by the t-top lip. 1/4 inch, if that). i will probaly end up angling the hydrolic slightly out, so the doors actually angle out a bit instead of straight up. i think that will be easier than straight up, but since the angle would be so small, you really wont even notice it. the only thing i cant figure out, is how im gonna make the door itself stand up and not angle down (figure the hydrolic has to pivot on the door itself, so im thinking the door would get wieghed down and still be parallel to the ground, but up in the air. get it? maybe im just thinking too much on that one, i dont know.)

i did want to get, or make, fenders like the border ones (kinda rx7ish), but i will probaly just end up using the stock ones.

like you, my money is beyond gone, but i only am paying for materials, and even those are at discount, so it wont be too bad, but i cant do the things i really want (wide rear fenders, etc) because id have to buy things that i couldnt get cheaper. i was thinking that when i get the 18s i wanted, to have the rears stretched, then do the rear fenders, but i dont know if i want to risk that. plus the rims are a bright satin color, so i dont know what would match that to put inside the rim. oh well, i guess ill wait and see.

the really dumb thing about the doors are, i havent even seen a pic of a real lambo door jamb, or even a fiero conversion or anything, so im kinda doing this from my mind (and paper). if you know where i can look at a close up of a door jamb from a car that has these doors, id appreciate it (that guy that did the corrolla didnt take pics since it wasnt his. bastard)
