Message	Isn't each coil 6 ohms? or is it 6 ohms in series? if it is 6 ohms each, then it runs 3 ohms in parallel. if it is 6 in series, then it can run 1.5 ohms in parallel. your total wattage if it is rated at 4 ohms will be less at 6 ohms. If it is rated at 4ohms, then it can probably do 3 with little problem, it just runs hotter. I wouldn't recommend putting the amp in the box, unless the box is ported. A sealed box will also trap all of the air inside the box like an oven and all the bass slamming against the air in the box causes compression of the air which probably also increases the temperature.
