It's not going to be much lighter As others have said, the glass is the really heavy part. You could always replace the glass with plastic, but that's not practical for road use. Since more than likely the carbon fiber will have to be formed over an integral aluminum or steel frame, the weight advantages of the CF won't be very big at all. CF is only really a big weight saver when it's used on important structural parts. So, to sell this you're going to have to appeal to people who like the look of carbon fiber parts- people who like the 'wow' factor. And people on this forum generally aren't enthusiastic about aesthetic carbon fiber parts. Try the classifieds here, but I would concentrate my efforts on other Z forums with more radical tastes. Try 300zxclub.com, for instance. Oh, and BTW, it's a hatch, not a trunk. If you call it a trunk, people might tend to think you don't really know what you're talking about, which isn't going to help you get anybody interested.
