| Got car March 2002: 2 months after I get car, passenger side turbo seals fail - pulled engine to replace turbos, injectors, and intercoolers; car down until late September Winter 02/03 I pulled engine to upgrade the wastegate actuators to the HKS units b/c I can't get the car to boost pas 16psi Spring 03 I pulled engine to have heads rebuilt, car down from April-July Winter/ Spring 03/04 I pulled engine to rebuild the short block after finding out that despite the 3 bent valves when I had the heads rebuilt, I still had low compression in #3. Turns out that I had hydrolocked that cylinder with fuel back in the fall of 02 when I put the car back together w/ the wrong lower injector o-rings that deteriorated b/c they were not nitrile rubber. My #3 rod was a banana. Car down from December 03 to the last week of May 04. Fall/ Winter 04/05 I pulled the engine b/c my upper timing belt idler pulley stud failed, resulting in 18 bent valves. Car is re-assembled but not running quite yet (has a bad miss and isn't firing on all 6 cylinders).
