| garage door opener into my dashboard. long ago i had modified my cc (cruise control see my cardomain page if interested). Since then i have had the cc switch sitting idle and i thought it was a good candidate for the garage door opener. the remote garage door opener is neatly mounted (double sided tape) to the inside of the cruise control pod. WARNING: this idea only works if your door opener works with a 12vdc battery. for 9 vdc you need a volt reg. email me for details. on to the pics:
1.- short out the switch permanently.
2.- solder two wires to the power pins of the opener
3.- half way there 
4.- open the cruise control pod and wire the neg lead from the door opener to the pink wire.
cut the brown wire (no longer needed).
wire the positive lead from the door opener to the headlights wire (red & blue constant 12vdc).
5.- these parts no longer needed (clip and battery)
6.- honey i'm home!
