put togehter a writeup concerning A/F issues. I have a FAQ called the "Dyno Dissertation" which is very helpful and it addresses this pretty concisely, but I think I need to clarify a few misnomers about ECU tuning and A/F ratios. Unfortunately, most people, not knowing how these systems work, will usually fault the ECU for the results. What is interesting about them really is that if the A/F, like in this case, is way off from where it should be, I know it isn't as a result of the program since the program will run a proper A/F on a vehicle that has no problems. Fuel issues are the #1 problems with these cars, but sometimes the results are skewed due to problems within the measuring devices or within some other system of the car itself. It is a tough case when someone posts results where there is something obviously wrong, as in this case, because most people to tend to fault the program. I dont get riled up about it like I used to though. As the result of what may be said concerning the problem though, at least it will scare the owner enough to make them feel compelled to figure out the problem and do something about it. What I do offer though is a guarantee that an ECU sale will make the owner happy with the results - I will stand behind my product and go over the top to help them with anything going on with their Z.
