clutches tend to slip. Get your transmission flushed and see if there is metal on the drain plug, also check the pilot bushing. I may be wrong, but I've gone through the stock clutch and didn't experience that, I've also gone through a pilot bushing and an input shaft bearing and they sound somewhat like that.
