Message	It can be supported via wooden cake dowl rods . The person making the wedding cake can supply them. Or better yet, just pay them to set it up. Note: DO NOT USE regular dowl rods they can contain a toxin that will leech into the cake. The cake industry has dowls without these chemicals. :) With that said, I say go for it. If it's something you love and she's all good with it, why not? It would only be in bad taste if your bride wasn't 100% for it. This day belongs to the two of you. Don't let others tell you what is bad taste at your wedding. my .02
