I want to buy a jack that will work without the use of any other ramps, 2X4's, or anything like that. If the car is not opperational, then all those ideas don't work. I know there are work arounds and all, but I really need opinions on brands/locations of professional jacks. Myself, my dad, and my brother as well as all our friends are constantly working on our cars upgrading one thing or another. So i would really like to get something nice. But i do appreciate the ideas. Thanks. -Ketan : After installing the Eibachs, the regular 20 dollar hydrolic jack does not fit under my car. While getting my tires installed, they had low profile industrial strength jacks. I was wondering what everyone uses. The Craftman jacks that look like the tire shops jacks don't fit (the lowest they go is 5.5"). I did find the Powerbuilt jacks at Kragen for $90 and it goes down to 4.75" but its a 3.5 ton jack..i think its an overkill, and slightly expensive. What do you people who have lowered Z's use? Thank you.
: BTW, Yes i know, i could just use the factory jack to lift it up slightly, then fit my cheapo jack under the car, but i am trying to build a set of professional tools to keep, so spending a bit more right now is not a real issue. : -Ketan
