Message Dr. King's speech inspired me to write this speech I present below. PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED, IN NO WAY DO I MEAN TO INSULT MLK, so just enjoy this twist of I Have a Dream...

In 1884, a great man with the last name of Parsons, in whose symbolic shadow, designed the first turbo-generator. His brother, Sir Frank Whittle is acknowledged with building the first jet-engine in 1937.

These momentous decrees came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of those who desired speedy travel, who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice by
being limited to horse-and-buggy.

It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.

But over one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the turbo is still not acclaimed. One hundred years later, the life of the Z-owner is still sadly crippled by the manacles of Vipers, big-block Chevy's, and the
chains of natural aspiration. One hundred years later, the turbo lives on a lonely island of question in the midst of a vast ocean of misunderstanding.

One hundred years later, the turbo is still languishing in the corners of society and finds himself an exile in his own land.

So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition. In a sense we have come here to cash a check. When the engineers of Datsun designed the mighty 240Z, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of combustion, horsepower, and the sound of a turbo.

We cannot walk alone.

I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of naturally aspirated vehicles, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all cars are not created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Detroit, the sons of Henry Ford and his employees will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood, and talk about turbo-charged vehicles.

I have a dream that one day even the state of California, an overpopulated, overpriced state, tagged with ridicule because of Hollywood and pornography, will be transformed into an oasis of cars with turbos....

I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the displacement of their engines but by their RPM required to make full boost.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day the state of California, whose governor's lips are presently dripping with stolen words of former President Bill Clinton, will be transformed into a situation where little Garrett and HKS turbos will be able to join hands with Vipers and Camaros, and walk together as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the turbo shall be revealed, and all metal shall see it together.

This will be the day when all of Nissan's turbos will be able to spool with a new meaning, "My turbo, let it sing, sweet horsepower from re-cycle-ing, of thee I sing. Spooled from exhaust gasses, makes power in the masses, makes it easier to make those passes...."

I have a dream.....

Let turbos spool from the streets of D--troit City!
Let turbos spool from the silicon valley in California!
But not only that; let turbos spool from Stone Mountain of Georgia!
Let turbos spool from the damn Cowboys of Texas!
Let turbos spool from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let turbos spool.

When we let turbos spool, when we let it spool from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all car manufacturers, Ford and Nissan, Chevy and Toyota, Dodge and Mitsubishi,
will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old turbo spiritual,

"Spool at last! spool at last! thank God Almighty, we can spool at last!"
