even your picture clearly show that the distance is just from the hub to the center of the wheel. When chenging the offset sizes, manufacturers don't add or take away material from the hub, they actually move the whole center assembly to a different location inside the wheel "circle." If the offset is 0 or 50, the spokes will still be the same distance from the calipers. I often get frustrated on here, cause so many members here think that offset will effect how much brake clearence they have. For example, right now, I have some wheels with a 0 offset...yes 0..no typo there, and I can put them on the front of my car and they fit the calipers perfectly. So once again, offset affect distance from hub to center of wheel, and not distance from caliper to spokes.
