Message I had custom straight cat pipes made for my naz when a cat was clogged. They just made it loud and slower off the line. A little more pep on the freeway tho. I ended up buying a pair of magnaflow/carsound cats(#53005 if anyone needs a part number that fits a z) and having them put in the new pipes- big torque gain over straight pipes. Increased exhaust flow is good, but as it has been said many times, NAs NEED a little bit of backpressure to still have any torque. My stillen headers, carsound cats, and hks catback seem to be as good as it gets on my NA. Any more flow, and id be more slow( i made a ryhme;). Anywayz, id like to see timeslips too, and know condition of stock cats when removed.
