Message	then whom ever did the swap never tied it back to the clutch... IF he has a POS alarm then it wouldn't be able to be installed on a 5sp anyways. Some of the Clifford series DO allow remote start w/ a 5sp because the remote start has to be activated when you're in the car and the car is running. Then you get out of the car, set it, and that sets the remote start as well.
