I just my friends were goofing off way too much at the shooting scene and it was getting dark out. I didn't have time to to it how I originally had planned. I was going to cut a hole in my friend's shirt, and stuff a cottonball with red food dye underneath it to look like a real gun shot wound, but I just ran out of time. I was going for the shakey shots actually, that was intentional, I even made it more shakey with the effects. It was just my taste and style. But thanks everyone for all of the input.
